Blending 101! πŸ”Š

You know the sounds. Now learn the SUPERPOWER — push them together and read real words!

🀫
The Rule
Blending means pushing sounds together without stopping — say each sound, then slide them into one word. /s/… /a/… /t/… say them faster and faster until you hear sat! That is blending!
πŸ‘† Tap each sound box — then tap the word to hear it all blended!
Watch the sounds become a word!

πŸ‘† Tap any word to hear it blended!
hit

tab

nib

jab
a quick poke!
🎯
The Challenge — Blend this silly sentence!
"A big fat bat sat on a tin bin and did a jig!"
A very large bat found a tin bin, sat right on top of it, and started dancing a little jig! Can you blend every single word? Try it three times — faster each time! πŸ˜„
⚠️ Don't add UH to stop sounds!
When blending, never say tuh-ah-puh for tap — that makes a completely different sound! Keep stop sounds like t, p, b, d, k, g short and sharp — no uh at the end. Say /t/ not /tuh/. This is the number one blending mistake — now you know to avoid it! πŸ’ͺ
